Learn More About IPPT

All courses taught at IPPT Career School are focused on the therapeutic and medical aspects of massage therapy and other physical medicine methods. One of the most unique features of IPPT is our teaching philosophy and methodology. We will train you to be a professional therapist of the highest caliber by using an applied and practical approach. Even, our anatomy and physiology, business principles, medical terminology and professional ethics courses are performed in interactive lectures. This helps the student not only to know the material, but to understand the concepts and how to apply these concepts in their every day practice.

We are one of a handful of schools in the nation that bases its teachings on European Medical Massage Therapy. This type of massage therapy was developed in Russia and later in Germany some hundreds of years ago. Now, this method is widely utilized in the treatment and prevention of a wide variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular, and internal organ disorders. Not only is this method of therapy extremely effective in treating and preventing diseases, but it is also virtually side-effect-free.

Massage therapy is preventative healing. It is one on the most natural and effective tools for stress management. Stress is known to be one of the major causes of ailments, which contributes to the rise of poor health in this country. Massage therapy is also used effectively in the sports industry (rehabilitation of sports related injuries and over-training) and injury prevention.

Our Physical Therapy Aide program focuses on training students to aide the physical therapist in treating sports related injuries, workplace injuries, and other back and limb disorders.

Our Chiropractic Assistant program focuses on training the student to assist the chiropractor in performing spinal mobilization, scapula manipulation, and manual traction on various spinal regions for many different types of spinal disorders.
