Now
that you have been introduced to our staff members, we would like
to take you inside our classrooms.
In the beginning
Boris would give a quick lecture on the lesson of the day.The
classes are very animated and fast paced. Once the students understand
the concepts of the day, "practical" part of the lesson begins.
Each
lesson is designed to help the student understand the exercise,
not memorize the motions. By the end of the class, the students
understand the workings of the human physiology and how to treat
it. In addition to learning massage techniques, Physical Therapy
Aides learn how to use various electric muscle stimulators, like
the ultrasound.
While
the students practice, the instructor and his assistants walk around
and assist each student in perfecting their technique. No student
graduates from the Institute unless they have the necessary skills
required to treat clients.
If a student
lags behind, Boris or his instructors will work with the student,
at no additional cost, until the student is up to speed. This is
why 100% of all our graduates that have taken the city's massage
therapist test have passed from the very first try.
The
students not only perform the massages , they also receive them
from their classmates. This way the student knows how their clients
will feel from
the techniques they learn . In the end of the class, every student
gets to enjoy and perform a number of professional full body massages.
(This is the best part of the course).
