Nataliya Borchenko — School Director

With an educational background in Interior Design, Ms. Borchenko is very passionate about vocational studies, and the ability for one to embark on a new career after receiving the skills needed at a career school. She owned several showrooms in California; the largest was the flagship showroom in Beverly Hills. She worked hand-in-hand with some of the world’s most renowned designers, creating designs for her clients in the entertainment industry and working on such projects as The Academy Awards and The Emmy’s. The acquisition of IPPT Career School came after Nataliya had achieved her professional goals in the design world over the course of nearly twenty years.

Thomas E. Hunter, MBA — Vice President of Operations

Thomas E. Hunter serves as the Vice President of Operations and chief compliance officer. Mr. Hunter has over 15 years of experience in proprietary, postsecondary education as an instructor, program director and compliance officer. Mr. Hunter’s previous position was as a Regional Director of Regulatory Operations for Career Education Corporation of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Mr. Hunter holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering and Applied Science from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from ITT Technical Institute.

Alec Kovich — Bursar

Alec Kovich has over 20 years of marketing and advertising experience. His entrepreneurial spirit has taken him to diverse industries in all four corners of the world. Growing up in Los Angeles, Alec has always wanted to travel. He has assisted a start up company in Eastern Europe to move their operations to United States and eventually to be traded on the New York Stock Exchange. He has also been a successful entrepreneur. For ten years Alec ran a successful senior housing business here in Los Angeles. Currently his new passion in manual therapy has brought him to IPPT Career School where he shares his excitement for healing through massage with students on a daily basis. Alec holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Jessica Kallio, DC — Director of Education/Program Director, Chiropractic Assistant

Jessica's previous clinical experiences include working as clinical coordinator and staff chiropractor for the physical therapy and rehab operations of a highly successful neurology and integrated pain management clinic in Southeast Georgia. The clinic served a patient base that ranged as far north as Savannah down to a large part of northeast Florida. A major segment of the patients were chronic pain sufferers, as well as personal injury or worker's compensation cases. Additionally, her clinic treated cases that involved patients who were post-surgical, post-stroke, suffering from neurological disorders, and other complex diagnoses. Many of the cases the clinic encountered dealt with symptoms arising from radiculopathic or neuropathic pain processes. Alternately, she has had extended involvement as a practitioner and practice owner in a multi-disciplinary alternative health center. She offered chiropractic services and co-managed mutual clients with other practitioners in fields that included naturopathy, herbalism, reflexology, quantum biofeedback, ionic foot detox, neuromuscular therapy and counseling services; all within a retail storefront that specialized in public education about natural healing and high quality herb and supplement sales.

Angel Gregorio, CMT — Program Director - Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy Aide

A graduate of IPPT Career School, Mr. Gregorio has been the Senior Instructor at IPPT since 2005 and had previously been a member of IPPT Career School as an Instructor since 1999. He has extensive experience working with private clientele and working in a physical therapy/rehabilitation setting.

Andrea Cowles, BS/CMT — Placement Services Coordinator

Ms. Cowles earned her Biology Degree and Certification in Exercise Fitness in 1994 from Humboldt State University. Also certified with AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), Andrea has been teaching a variety of fitness classes for over 15 years, both in the United States and Honduras, where she also taught Biology. Andrea earned her massage therapy license in 2006, after graduating from IPPT Career School. Andrea has considerable experience working in the spa atmosphere as well as in the health and wellness professions.

Gary Dubin — Director of Admissions

 

Victor Dence — Registrar

Mr. Dence has been with IPPT since 1997. With an educational background in communications, Victor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations. Victor also heads up the continuing education department and schedules guest speakers and seminars at the school.
